Have Story or Fights or Both
Let's see.
Cyborg 009 was lame. I hate the character designs and the show really bored the hell out me. It seemed really cheesy like the first Gundam. But at least the very first Gundam show was really cool in its day and remains a classic. The first Gundam had some nice ideas too.
Pokemon tends to be sort of kids anime. I don't like it becuase of the lack of direction and plot. Plus all the marketing. I can't say its the worst becuase for an old black and white low memory gamboy game it was good.
I didn't see much of Pilot Candidate. It seemed like it was going to be cool, but I didn't see the rest. It took to long to get going. The designs of everything were incredible though. I guess it is an unknown with potential for both greatness and sucking from what I can tell.
I think I might say Gundam Wing.
It had a lot of good parts don't get me wrong. But it was the biggest let down. Cool beginning, gets right to action. Mysterious characters. Awsome Designs.
Then peace peace peace and blah blah blah. It squandered so much potential. The show was a total let down. I was like yeah . Then I was like ahhhh .
It had so much cool and some of the best mech fights, but had to waste so much on a petitful dialogue story. I wanted it to have a cooler more spy type story or shut the hell up and fight.

I'd say that Final Fantasy Unlimited would top my list. Next woud be Noir. I generally dont think shows like DBZ and pokemon are bad since they were created in the first place for a target audience. I cant really blame them for making DBZ a repeatitive slugfest for 12 year old boys, nor can I blame them for making Pokemon for little kids.
Gundam Wing would also be at the top of my list. Followed closely by Haibane Reimei.

MY least favorite would have to be Record of Lodoss War. That anime was so boring, I fell asleep on it. And it was the only time I fell asleep on a movie or television show ever.

There's the general kiddy anime (dbz, etc.) But since they're directed at an easily entertained audience, not much effort in put into them.
I didn't really care for witch hunter robin. I got horribly bored with it. Nice animation and the dubs weren't too bad but in general it just wasn't very excting. The concept of lighting things on fire with your mind is cool, but if that's all that a character can do in an anime, then it gets a little old after a while. Plus Robin pretty much wailed on everyone without too much trouble. That's nice but what's the point of watching if the main character doesn't lose a little. I realize that she had that withered branch thing, (sorry that I don't remember what it's called) and that it was a big part of the plot but it really didn't make the show all that interesting Such is my view any hoo

It's kinda hard for me to say which is my least favorite, and I only have two candidates: Digimon and Wolf's Rain. The reason why I don't like (not hate) Wolf's Rain is personal and I don't feel like talking about it. Digimon I just can't stand.
There are few anime that I don't particulary care for (not hate... again) like Witch Hunter Robin. It was OK, but it wasn't my kind of show, that's all.

Re: Have Story or Fights or Both
The major difference would be that Gundam started back in 1979 and Cyborg 009 was a couple years back. The crazy character designs are a bit obnoxious, but the worst is the voice actor for the black Cyborg is god awful. Did they get him out of a grade school play?! *vomit*HeavyMetal wrote:Cyborg 009 was lame. I hate the character designs and the show really bored the hell out me. Too bad there were only 13 episodes made before it got canned. It was actually starting to move along at the end.I didn't see much of Pilot Candidate. It seemed like it was going to be cool, but I didn't see the rest. It took to long to get going. The designs of everything were incredible though.
