Well after a very very close battle we finally have a victor. Shinji vs. Spike, Asuka vs. Faye, Jet vs. Gendo, eva vs. hammerhead, the gay last angel vs. vicious, which is the greatest anime of all time.

My personal reaction is that I can't believe Ninja Scroll lost in the first round even if it did go down to a tie breaker I was really upset to see it go down so early on, also same with Kenshin TV and Ah! My Goddess not quite as much as Ninja Scroll but that was still disappointing. And Heartbreak I wish that His and Her made it further as well, but what ya going to do.

In a little bit I was planning on doing another one of these with recent anime, I hope the turnout is just as good. Thanks everyone for voting.

I’m glad to see that Cowboy Bebop won, after looking over the results it looks like Eva was the only show that even put up a fight for Bebop. I was also disappointed seeing Ninja Scroll lose in the first round, Ninja Scroll might be the best anime film ever and it didn’t even win one match o well.

It's not surprising that Bebop won. Eva did put up a fight but like I said in the Final Eliminator round...Bebop rules all!

Anyway, hurray for Bebop! There's no other series that should have the winning spot, aside from Evangelion.

Also, even though Ill probably be flamed to death, when I watch Cowboy Bebop I almost fall asleep. Whats to like about it Im missing?

I dunno, nothing can appeal to everyone. But I wasn't nearly as "in" to Cowboy Bebop until it finally just clicked with me and I fell in love with it. It really is a deep series, and it's enjoyable for the characters, if nothing else. Plus the music is really fitting and some of the episodes are simply amazing in their epic-ness. Have you seen all the episodes? Pierrot Le Fou is the episode that made it click for me.

I must say that I'm more then happy with the way that this turned out b/c Cowboy Bebop is my all time favorite anime. I would probably say that i was most surprised by Serial Experiment Lain and Revolutionary Girl Utena, I didn't realize just how popular they were.
