this is were i normally come in and defend anime's name. but this time im going to do just that.
see what most people dont know about anime is that you cant just look at one type of anime and declear it "bad" you have to understand what the anime is about, what it is trying to get across, what it is trying to teach us about ours lives, and how it relates to other animes. lets say pokémon for one. by its self its not that good but it is meant for little kids to come to love better anime, pokémon is like a gateway anime for kids so thay can have respect for future anime....

I'm a guy and I liked Spirited Away, or at least sort of. It wasn't the best movie ever, but it was at least ok. I was expecting it to be more like Princess Mononoke, with it being made by the same people and all.
The animation was some of the best ever, but the story could have used some fine tuning.
The problem with it was that the story was a little scetchy. They were always talking about love and stuff when no love theme had really had time to develop. It also moved insanely fast, especially at the end. I think it was intended to be an emotional movie, but when things jump around so fast, it loses a lot of the emotion that it was going for. They don't explain a lot either. Oh well.
I still was able to enjoy it, but it was a little annoying.
I've never seen Evangelion. I'm so lonely.

It sort of worked with Street Fighter II movie. But I guess it was because of that Chun-Li shower sceneangelx03 wrote:Tekken the Movie.
Dear God, that was a waste of my hour! Never create a "movie" if you're going to cram more than 5 characters within an hour.

I felt the same way about spirited away too. I felt like I was the only one who thought that way about... I'm not alone. I liked Spirited away, but not as much as my dad.El Diablo Rojo wrote:I'm a guy and I liked Spirited Away, or at least sort of. It wasn't the best movie ever, but it was at least ok. I think that that would have to be either Big O. I didnt like how it seemed like batman. I also dont know what you have against all of those kiddy shows. I dont watch them but its not like i cant stand them or anything. Reign also was a little too boring for me but everything else i can watch without problems.
