well, just to start off alita battle angel is in the top ten best anime ever made. but, it leaves so miny questions unanswered in the new manga. were in the time line of things did this take place? is she a differant made alita? it was befor the sky city turned into a plant, were dr. nova went insane, but in this new manga dr. nova gets killed, by his younger helper, befor the cities transforamtion. what was figure 4 doing while this was going on? (fishing?) or is this a differant story line all together? i only read half the first book about 2 mouths ago (i'v been pressed on time) may be i should read the rest?

These are fairly silly assumptions, as it's been said exactly when it takes place.

"Last Order" starts exactly after Alita was blown up by Nova's bomb doll, BEFORE she's taken to Zalem.
The original ending is supposed to be ignored. "Last Order" is replacing the original ending.
