It got a little over-emotional at times, but overall it was a good, nice series.
My favorite characters are still the Boshi twins, esp. Amiboshi.

Ok anyways....
I own the manga up to date and love it! I don't have the International Channel so it sucks, but I've been keeping watch for the series box sets, though apparently it will be rereleased on single dvds, which may prove less expensive oO.....
The only anime I have of it, is the very last OVA, Eikoden. It's pretty cool ^_^

From what I've read of a translated summary of the first few chapters of the Eikou Den manga, the manga is better. The OAVs felt kinda rushed, like they were trying too hard to fit everything into 4 episodes. And no, I haven't seen the first or second OAV series (though I have seen the bus trip omake).
