Meh, I guess Eva influenced me too, but it was that combined with a lot of other things that caused me to change my lifestyle.
I'm bored and you're dumb. A match made in heaven.

<--- Yukino Miyazawa (His and Her Circumstances a.k.a. Kare Kano)

As scary as this sounds, I'm exactly like her. In high school, I used to spend hours studying every night just so I could be at the top of my class. And then I picked a "practical" major in college and started doing the same thing. When I saw Kare Kano, the realization of how wrong I was living my life hit me like a ton of bricks (it helps that I met my significant other around the same time). My husband's nothing like Arima though, but he helps me stay true to myself and not worry about what other people think. I just wish I could have figured this all out sooner, cause I can't ever get those high school years back. Everybody says high school's like the best time of your life, but the only memories I have of it involve my grades.

Ghibli's Mimi wo Sumiseba changed the way I considered my future and helped push me towards a project that ultimatly ended in failure. Yet, if I looked back on my life and saw that I had never tried it, I would certainly regret it.

Well, for one I now run around insanely like Ed from Cowboy Bebop. She is Awesome. So free spirited, happy, and hyper. She doesn't care what people think of her. Same here! :) And does saying "Hn" all the time and staying slightly anti social work as a change? I also wear black all the time. Is this a good or bad thing? :?
Bwahahahahahaaaaa!!!!! My plan is going according to plan!

Yeah! Free-spirited people are the best! I try to be more like Kenshin, or at least try to be...being polite and kind to the extreme is hard alot of the time, though. :?

It's inspired me to spend mass amounts of money on the habit

Other than that, not really. I can't say that I've ever really based anything off it.

Though a couple good manga titles prompted me to consider my own feelings on certain subjects, but that's about it
