wow, great way to conceptualize.

coming from the one who began this thread, you understood my point perfectly. i'm beaming of gratefulness. someone gets my point! i authored the post during one such event...reeling away from a bad day, found refuge in LP and DISTURBED, and RK anime was playing in the background. To be able to experience the intensity of good rock while at the same time view the struggles of a complex character like Soujiro...i knew i was among a form, some form, of understanding wth myself. can't really explain it. but glad u got it.

anyone else?

though i must agree with u i also want to disagre.
u are corect that the type of anime dicides the song that goes good with it. but i really cant see rap going along with an amv. some synphenis work but most clasical music wont. i think what kearanoske is trying to say is that for most cases somekinda rock song goes well with anime.

......most classical music..... Try calling Anno Hideaki. He has mastered the use of classical music in anime.

i'm not taking it as a generalization, nor did i assume she was saying any type of rock fits all anime.

I wasn't really directing that at you. ^.~ Mostly it was started by Unsent Vibes who said she'd made a 'stupid and ignorant comment' - and then completely misinterpreted it - which in turn spurred others on to take the thread in a direction that had nothing to do with the original post.

glad we're getting back on track. would hate for this thread to digress b/c of a subject as simple as rock and anime. correction: it's not a simple subject. oops.

what about Chevelle and Inuyasha? Now, that's an interesting pair. Love songs are good too, but Chevelle...that's a good one! Especially the song "The Red", for Inuyasha's demon eyes! hehe
