Caps lock again  (just joking)

Comic Party is supposed to be a great comedy...wait that's on DVD only I think... :? Nope, never mind they do have Comic Party graphic novels! :D
Yes, I agree with mag, MegaTokyo is a good manga. I haven't ever seen Cowboy Bebop in stores (well, at least not in Waldens. I've seen it online though.) X/1999 is a good manga, too.

The Bebop mangas are ok. Not the best read but still okay.
The first Bebop manga that was released contains side stories that don't really have any impact on the general storyline of bebop. Three volumes long.
The second manga is titled Cowboy Bebop:shooting star. Its an alternate story line of Bebop but it's only two volumes long since the original japanese company decided to scrap it.

i got a friend who started basic a while ago... he had this crack pot idea that we're all gonna be drafted anyways so why not inlist and get a choice... he was serious!

The reason they make the alternative story line is the same reason AMERICAN distributors do it... money. By creating another timeline for the same franchise, they can literally "re-sell" their products, and due to the fame the product already has, it will make a lot of money.

By the way Paris, what did you do to end up in boot camp anyway (don't have to answer if you don't want to.)

As for manga, Get GTO. The manga is complete and hilarious. You won't regret it.

I'd recommend MegaTokyo, you should be busy enough that it'll take about 9 weeks to read it all. :]

If you're into:

- Action
- Comedy
- Beautiful Art
- Romance
- Bishonen

I would *recommend* Dragon Knights
