I liked Ghost in the Shell enough to watch it through 3 times in 2 days...if you get the DVD, the extras are pretty interesting....

Ghost is cyberpunk in a madly cool way. If you've read Neuromancer or Snow Crash, go for Ghost.

I personally loved Ghost In The Shell and I absolutely love Ghost In The Shell:Stand Alone Complex.

It reminds me sorta of a cross between Bubblegum Crisis and CowBoy Bebop with lots of Cyberpunk thrown in.

My favorite characters were the Tachikoma and Bateau but I have only seen up to ep 18 of GITS:SAC. Major Kisaragi was very cool too.
