I love DBZ/GT to death. I love the good bloody fights. There are good characters in the series like kid buu, Frieza( not a BIG fan of him), Pikkon, Piccolo(PICK YOU ASS IOLO) and others. Sad part is that they never show the UNCUT SCENES.

This is one of the major things I do not like about it. Look at when they became strong enough to do this and then look at how much it drags on. It'd save time if the bad guys would just blow everything up.

As for the actual show I'm going to say what has been said a million times, it's too damn long for the story it tells. If it where to end at the Frieza saga and then they dropped it to around 40 eps it probably would have been higher in my book. I just can't stand watching long boring episodes of nothing though. I can't count how many times I've fallen asleep trying to watch some episodes of it.

I'm also going to agree with something another person said. I've no gripe with people who enjoy DBZ, everyone has their tastes. It's just annoying when someone keeps preaching it's the best ever when their anime knowledge does not extend past Toonami or YTV.

I also like Piccilo, but Im sorry. I think Vegeta is stronger than Goku.

vegeta is the best if goku was as ruthless as vegeta the series (if possilbe)could be even better cos all the goodies are pussies(except vegeta and piccolo )

I have been a great fan of DBZ for three years (for it took that long to broadcast it) I live in Holland and the meaning of Rewind is very clear here. I think I've seen Frieza die a million times, also taking the fact that he dies a lot in the serie (will you die al ready)

Anyway, now I'm looking moreto other Animes and Mangas, but still I have a deep respect to DBZ it's the first Anime I watched, unless you count Pokemon and Digimon as one...

You must consider that the serie is very old... And maybe there are newer and better, but DBZ is what you could call Old School, I think you should respect that...

Well that's my opinion, anyway...

Bloody fights..... BLOODY? you mean as in 3 red lines in their face

. Also good characters... WTF a bubblegum made fucker? Fights take up to 10 episodes because they talk 20 minutes of shit for every punch, then look at each other without saying shit for another 10 minutes

Hell, Pokemon has better characters (POKEMON..... sad aint it?)

I have to agree. A decent cliffhanger is one thing, but DB did it. They didn´t do it once or twice like in "Noir", they did it all the time.

And dude, accept it: That´s sad. The overall story can be called medicore, if you´d cut it down to... 1/8 of the material. Yes, 1/8 of DB/DBZ/DBGT would be right.

Still, the series woudn´t be king and queen of animation, but hey, not like any of the old stuff can keep up with the latest GANIAX, GHIBILI or SUNSHINE projects.

And I think that´s the key of all DB hardcore-fanboys. They don´t see the crap that is sold. They see the story that could have been sold.
