Kono Minikuku mo Utsukushii Sekai has just ended.
So what do you guys think of the entire series? Was it a decent effort Gainax put into, or was it completely mediocre? I'm in the process of getting the last episode so I'll make comments about this series later.

Overall, Kono Minikuku mo Utsukushii Sekai has great animation and rememberable characters.. But I was quite disappointed with the way this series ended. The story just seemed to plummet in the last episode. The "final battle" isn't dramatic at all, and I think the relationship between Takeru and Hikari wasn't emphasized enough at the end. Sure, they love one another, and they don't wish to let each other go.. But the way they expressed this is just "meh". I dunno, maybe I'm just a sap for wanting more emotion and feelings to be shown in the last episode. I was watching intently towards the very end though. Like Kalium said, this was a decent anime, but it didn't merit a, "Wow that was good" from me when it ended. It's more like, "Okay, everyone is happy-go-lucky now and they're back to their normal lives.." But don't get me wrong, this is a good series with great editing possibilities. I just wish the people who brainstormed it did a better job for the short, twelve episodes. My two cents on that.

Yea I agree that it was a good watch but nothing too give it merit. Ending was rushed. And the whole thing with Mari was just weird. She was just a brat.
I got to see Ryou's powers, I don't know about you.
I liked the humor in it though. Definitely watch it again and again...and again.
Liked it better than Witch Hunter Robin
