I LOVE EVANGELION!!!!
I've just started getting the DVD vol.'s of it (so far i can only find the first 2, and i've only seen both vol.'s once at different times/places/states). My favorite episode is ep. 8 "Asuka Strikes!" XD i love it!!
"That's a viewing fee!"
"Its overpriced, but that's okay, here's your change!!" XD XD XD
I love the action in the show as well, and also that it seems to take its time showing and explaining things and doesn't constrain itself as with some other anime's that want to resolve everything in Just ONE EPISODE!! So yeah, love the action, comedy, pacing... EVERYTHING!!! And its just starting to get interesting in my opinion (as i've only seen up to ep. 8)
can't wait to get the other vol.'s!! (although i'll probably have to start getting them off the internet...)

Ever see the concept art to the live-action eva movie?
There is an Evangelion live action movie in the works, right now its in its planning stage, mostly just tons of concept art which you can see on the new Evangelion Dvd, the directors cut of the last episodes. Worth checking out. I think Hugo Weaving should be shinji's father, since he gots that mean badass business man thing going if you recall him as agent smith in Matrix. But with that receeding hair line...that could make him out of the question, but other than that, if its made into a movie, Ikari will likely be some inventor of sorts, shinji the son who uses his machines, and the impending doom of earth from these aliens called Angles that leads to a dramatic show off with some angel that shinji, auska, and rei have to face off with in some wild ass fray with nerves clenched to the very end...
And another note, i think it should be an American fiml produced by maybe Sony directed by someone from Japan like that Woo guy or sumtin.

My strength is not that of the mountains, nor is as vast as the plains, nor does each wave crash upon the shore and thunder like lightning into my viens...but that which i can muster, and that which i will, i will bring myself foward into this world like no man has done before...

That sounds great and all but the concept art makes the children look like adults. And if they are older what will happen to all of the scenes that took place at school and had to do with school?MikaelJuha wrote:There is an Evangelion live action movie in the works, right now its in its planning stage, mostly just tons of concept art which you can see on the new Evangelion Dvd, the directors cut of the last episodes.
