Naruto dubbed?

yyhs was ok from like ep 10 to ep 30 or so. the rest was just ok i guess. not my kinda show. it is dbzish imo. meh idk maybe ill check out naruto sometime but im really starting to vear away from it.

I didn't mean that naruto is anything like dbz. I just like to compare it to the original dragonball series, because I think that the two are very similar. But what I fear most is that if it is dubbed and it becomes huge in the u.s. the creaters of the show will just forget about the stoyline, and focus on making money with stupid spinoff shows that have nothing to do with the plot at all, and is just turn it into 30 mins of ninja fighting.

So if there is any fighting in an anime then its like DBZ huh.

Naruto is one of the more original shonen fighting series I've seen. Like whats said before its a pretty clever series. Not the smartest one out there but still pretty good.

not just any fights...but

1. a series that lasts beyond 60 episodes is ALREADY too long...not LONG but TOO long.

2. a series that has fights that last longer then 1 episode...2 at most...and which occurs EVERY FIGHT that happens, not just some.

3. a crappy, gay, series, is also considered dbz.

I hardly consider it a problem if it has a lot of eps. I've seen 12 ep series that had less plot and were less interesting. As far as long fights go, would you prefer a fight to end with just one punch? What kind of plot is that? Everything in anime, tv series and movies even here in America is over dramatized. This is give volume and meaning to the fights. If things just ended quick they would be boring. On the flip side extremely long fights can also be boring (this was DBZ's problem). Naruto balances out these two. Most fights dont last longer than a few eps.

Unfortunatly some people wont be pleased by a series. If you dont like it fine but flaming a series for being what it is, is just stupid and un productive. This is why DBZ hate threads usually dont last long. You saying it sux doesn't change a thing.

Just for curiousity sake what series do you like Juicy J?

i seem like im pretty close-minded and only like a few types...but i like all of them...just NOT fighting series...they just annoy me...because they are WAY overly dramatic with the fighting...in r/l fights dont last longer then 10 minutes....i mean come on. And if people had super powers they'd last much less...

but yeah i basically like everything but fighting anime or the ones aimed at littler kids...though I do like Kaleido star and thats pretty kiddish ...but like not pokemon or digimon or any of that...

any type of show..just NOT shows that the entire plot is FIGHT. Even with a story behind it, no matter how good...its still a fighting show and that just annoys me for some reason.

I mean i watch shows WITH fights in them, just not shows that one of the main parts is fighting....so yeah. Anything other then that.

I know what you mean about fighting, I fight all the time and if you last longer than 10 minutes your lucky. I suppose your annoyance with fighting is like my annoyance of sword fighting in anime and movies alike. A real sword fight doesn't last past the first strike. Especially Katana's which weren't made for blocking (thin blade).
