If you suddenly became a Gundam SEED character ...
Would you prefer to have been born as a Natural, or as a Coordinator?

Hmm... Life after war isn't so bad.
But hey, you get to stomp around in the Double X, such an awesome weapon
I'd want to be a co-ordinator and have those kickarse skillz
But at the same time, I think I'd prefer to be a natural, unaltered and whatnot.
Besides, Gundam Seed was sooo 2002
Gundam Seed Destiny is where it's at now, starting October 2004
Man I can't believe Bandai are releasing this F91 crap.. what about GX!?!

Who watches Gundam SEED anyways. I saw it once and it bored me. Maybe it's like the other Gundam shows. In the beginning its slow but then somewhere there is a battle and actions starts to churn up. Now you got me downloading episodes. Dang it!
HELL YEAH!

Definately give it a go, awesome series overall, though as you said it's a bit slow to start.
It's a lot more controversial and "shocking" than the Gundam series I've seen so far.
The end of the series blew me away, the same mix of disbelief and sadness as I felt when I saw the end of the Kenshin Reflection OAV.
One thing though, most series I can pick up on a character and like them, find them interesting, none of the Gundam Seed characters appealed to me as much. Gundam Wing has some great excentric characters, someone to love and hate, I think seed lacks that "personality".
In a way it makes the characters seem more normal rather than fictional characters.
But I was able to find someone to hate Nicol, stupid gay ass got the best Gundam as well.
Come to think of it, nearly all the dark coloured Gundams are the best. Deathscythe (and it's variants) Double X and Blitz.
Well I watched it as it was airing in Japan a few years ago, and liked it so much I vowed to get the DVDs. Since then I witnessed "the dub". I have to say, although I'm not picky when it comes to dubs, I can honestly say they've cocked up on that one. The voices are awful, and that damn wordfit system that takes out the gaps, makes the speech impossibly close together (I don't think it would be physically possible to repeat some of the things they said so clearly and quickly)
But hey, I'll still be getting the DVDs; great thing is, they are bilingual, thank God for DVD. It will make good AMV source if nothing also.

Calm down...for one, F91 isn't crap so much as a Gundam title which never got the chance it really deserved (it was initially set-up as a series, then they got told part-way through production that wasn't going to work so they had to refilm it as a movie...)Z3r01 wrote:Man I can't believe Bandai are releasing this F91 crap.. what about GX!?!
That aside, it's still pretty good
As for GX...actually, I'd say that's the next likely candidate to get brought over...in spite of the fact it wasn't a major hit in Japan, the Bandai USA staff is thinking of bringing it over next (...assuming they don't pull a SEED-Zeta stunt, license X and then proceed to keep pushing it to the side to accomodate Destiny)
(...sorry...still a touch bitter about the fact that us Zeta fans keep getting screwed)

I feel your pain somewhat I've been waiting ages for GX, finally suteki yume decided to sub it, but the group leader left and the group is in partial limbo.
Do excuse my ranting, I haven't seen F91, so I shouldn't assume ^_^"
Just kind of frustrated you know? First Seed (which was an obvious move) then F91. Considering GX aired directly after GW, there is quite a gap in the dub release.
I hope they do a good job though, I'd sooner wait for a good dub than a rushed one like Seed
