live action eva name changes

But but... I thought he wasn't involved in the live-action Eva movie at all, other than voicing his support from the sidelines and not making a fuss if the writers interpret it differently...

look at rei closely. i mean seriosly, take a good, long, hard (not that way) look at her. she's just an average girl. isnt realy that attractive at all.

oh and, auska, rei and shinji are just kids. well, 15 year old teens. if they get anyone abouve the age of 18 to play their roles, well they've almost instantly fucked it up

Just to clear it up, I think those are the artists names. If no I am going to gett very pissed .

The images have other signatures on them and the names Ray and Kate Rose are colored in with the rest of the picture

Yeah the names are the least of our worries but still some anime should never be converted into live action. *shudders*
But we still have about a year to go till the massacre of Eva.

I can just imagine it...can you?

A few of you are making good points, mainly Scintilla. At this point in time its pointless to make any complaints as to what direction the movie is taking seeing as how a cast and crew havnt even been set up. As for a couple name changes ruining the movie, well i highly doubt it. Look at the comic book to movie transitions that have come out recently. The only reason they were a success at all was due to the fact that they based the movie incredibly loosely on the actual story. Many of you believe that if the movie goes right along with the anime then it will be great, but i believe if this happens you will be in for a rude awakening. Film and Anime are seperate mediums for a reason, they are able to convey differnt thoughts, ideas, and visuals. The only way i see this movie being a success is if they can create a solid script with out trying to invoke to much of the anime into it.
