Supposedly, there's going to be 52 episodes for Fullmetal Alchemist. It's going to premiere in Adult Swim this fall.

I've read the 5 volumes of the Hellsing manga and i was thinking hey this is a lot coole than the serial, why did they abandoned the manga ideea of millenium and inserted that weird vampire character. Also in the series they don't explain properly who created those chips and why, while in the manga it all makes sense (the attack on the hellsing mansion and all).....
Plus the action is so thriling that i was very sad when i reached the last chapter... Have to procure volume 6 yet....
Yeah, thanx ppl, your advices have been of a great help to me...
Trigun is really ok as well as ranma. Zombie powder is cool, anyone interested try to buy it and you won't regret it. Has it been turned into anime yet?

My favorite manga that I've read is called Mars. It's REALLY good. I think there are 15 volumes plus a random extra one. I would definately recomend that one.

Some others I've read:
Fushigi Yugi
Ayashi no Ceres
Alice 19th (sensing a pattern?)
Kodocha
Model
Demon Diary
Shutterbox
Marmalade Boy
Boys Over Flowers

Anything done by Yu Watase is going to have a really interesting story and beautiful art to go with it. ^_^

I don't have a great collection of manga, but these are my personal favorites:

- Dragon Knights (Light shonen-ai, adventure, fantasy, comedy)
- Vampire Game (Shonen-ai, adventure, romance)
- Tsubasa (CLAMP)
- Mars ("The rebel & the good girl" type romance)

Nope, it goes hand and hand with xxxHolic. Tsubasa and xxxHolic are part of the same story, they just concentrate of different characters.

Fullmetal Alchemist is pretty much a totally different ball park when you compare the anime and manga. The same goes with Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Some manga you should purchase is..

Saikano
Berserk (goes WAAAYY beyond the anime)
Naruto (better than the anime)
Flame of Recca
Blade of the Immortal
Phoenix
Maison Ikkoku
HanaKimi (the master of the girl pretending to be a guy for some reason or another genre)
Sgt Frog
Azumanga Daioh
Bleach (soon to be anime :3)
Fruits Basket
Planetes
Tuxedo Gin

I don't really read manga all that much. The reason is becasue I see the series and then I know the manga is probably better and that if I read it it will piss me off that the two aren't the same, but one series of manga I am currently enjoying is Berserk season 2.
