lesbians in anime? cant be!

i was watching el hazard the movie and the way those two girls were acting... makes me wonder. but i thought i was just imaging it or some thing. but then, i was watching cosplay complex, and the girl in that one was acting really odd. that plus a couple of other anime i seen, i started to think "are thay lesbians or is that just the custom in japan with girls" i seen alot of girls bathe together, so i was thinking this must be some kind of bonding thing thay do... i dont know for sure can someone help me with this?

hmm...well being that there's public bath houses in Japan, I wouldn't consider anything too out of the ordinary.

But uhh....there's a lot of homosexual undertones in many animes

When it comes to Cosplay Complex, there's no undertones there, they make it pretty blatant. Says it right in the very first episode too.

So what if there are lesbians in anime. I ask you.
Is that such a wrong thing! I personally think it adds to the drama.
Not to mention the comical scenes it invokes.
Anime+Lesbians= Even better anime.

There's a number of lesbians in anime, it's also fairly common in the real world for straight girls to get crushes on other girls, it happens. You can find that in Azumanga Daioh, Maria-sama ga Miteru, Revolutionary Girl Utena...

THERES A ELHAZARD MOVIE... is it out on dvd or just in japan and what is it call. Now back to the topic yes the girls in el hazard are lesbians they make that realy clear in the elhazard oavs, i also think the child ropomatus in excel saga is one too but i could be wrong.
