Is Anime age important?

Thinking someone or somthing (in the case of anime) is attractive is a fairly natural reaction. DOING something about it, now that's a problem. If you look at the target audience of (most) anime, then having the younger girls starts to make a lot more sense.

I've never seen the appeal of characters with huge knockers that act like 8 year olds. I don't get why others apparently do, but hey I don't have to either.

So age in anime is only an issue if it's a function of maturity, or if someone in the anime is taking advantage of that age gap for nefarious reasons. Otherwise, CLAMP wouldn't exist.

Why some people equate liking with sex, I'll never understand. There are other ways to like someone.
And as I stated before:
It's anime; love it but let's not get carried away.

No need to insult the innocent.
No point to stating the obvious.
No reason not open a book or a dictionary and read what a REAL pedophile is.

Unless you're 30+ and want to screw a real ten year old boy/girl or whatever age and want to seriously marry an anime character; then it's all safe. Then again as I stated in some thread time ago; age is a funny thing.
You say 30 yr. old with a 10 yr. old (regardless of sex type); the pitchforks come and the outrage is felt.
You say 50 yr. old with a 30 yr. old (regardless of sex type) and everyone thinks:
"Lucky bastard. Does he/she have to use Viagra?" or maybe a little shock but that's it.
And it is the same 20 year age difference.
Hope that makes some people think because thinking seems not to be mainstream.

I have no idea of who or what Chibi Usa is. And since when was it wrong thinking? Sure, you can't do nor say somethings but you sure as hell can think what ever you like.

Call me strange, but I find something wrong with say, a 40 yr old man "thinking" about screwing a 10 yr old...maybe I'm just strange, but I do find something wrong with that.

That is kind of creepy but not because of the actual age difference but because the younger one is ten freaking years old!!
What about 20 with 50?
Won't say 30 and 60 cause I don't *that's* working well at that age.
10/40 is little extreme for an example...

throw in the fact Rei and Asuka look nothing like fourteen, nowbody i knew looked that hot at that age

Bingo. Half the characters in most anime series look nothing like their age. Robin from Witch Hunter Robin is suppose to be 15, but she really doesn't look it. The Evangelion children are 14, but they look older. Etc, etc.

Still....it's not wrong to be attracted to the younger characters. Most anime fans are in the teen age grouping (I assume) so they relate to these characters better.

As far as the whole sexual fantasy about these younger girls (and I guess guys too...) it's just...uhh...kinda weird. They're cartoons people.
