I'll add another terrible dub, "Big Wars" put out by US Manga Corp. The story is ok the dub is awful, you don't have a choise either it's all there is.

I see the forums may have matured (no rediculous dub vs. sub arguments yet), so I'll say mine.

Good:

Cowboy Bebop
Hellsing
Excel Saga
RahXephon
..You know, I'll be listing everything I own minus a few. To be quite frank, I like most every dub I hear because
a. I can understand it by hearing it, and
b. I can pay more attention to what's going on.
So, to end redundancy here's my:
Bad, with reasons
DBZ - I didn't like this because the obligatory charging up and screaming irritates me. And this comes from someone who likes DBZ

In the show's favor I must say the dub is in fact better than the sub, so...

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Tiffany Grant did a great job in Excel Saga and Puni Puni Poemy. She did a HORRIBLE job with Asuka. I wouldn't be able to kill her because then I'd have to hear her scream, effectively causing me to commit suicide.

There's also one sub that I couldn't watch, and that's Nurse Witch Komugi. Komugi's voice is fairly annoying, so I'll just stick with the dub on this one.

My personal hatred for Kenshin dub knows no bounds.

and whoever said eva dub was bad, booo to you. It's good. I still hated shinji just as much as the jva, Asuka was just as irritating and overbearing as the jva, and rei was just as emotionless and uncaring as the jva. Maybe Dr Akagi could have been better but it has been a while since I've seen the dubs.

Most of the dubbing I like there are only a few that I thought where bad

His and Her Circustances (it was off in places, over all good just off here and there in the earlier episodes)

The orginal BGC (go figure old style I am not use to proabably why)

FLCL (I thought the voice actresses and actors could have been choosen better.)

now it's time for my good dub... choice... award.... thingy.... any who. i think they did an awesome job with CB (that cowboy bebop for those that don't know... GO WATCH IT OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN!!!!) the voice for spike was quite good, by far the best i've heard (not that hard considering.....) but he left you with the sense of BAMF. truely a work of art....

The unfortunate part about the Eva dub is despite the fact that I dislike the voice cast, it was done well. The voices fit (at least somewhat), so props to them. I just didn't like it.

People mentioning Slayers should probably mention whether they mean the ADV dub(OVAs and Movies) or the TV series dub(Can't remember who did it but it wasn't ADV).

Anyhow I really rarely hate a dub since I've just grown used to watching things that way. However I saw some of Zenki when it was only available on VHS and subbed. Then the DVDs came out, I watched the first episode dubbed and the minute I heard Zenki start talking I actually stopped it in the middle of the episode. It was just too ridiculess. They have a bad ass demon guy who has a voice fit for a gallant knight... WTF?

I will admit though, aside from that. When a dub does suck, it tends to be an ADV dub. But they did a good job on Ruin Explorers at least!
