Am I the only person who thought Shinji's dub VA sounded suspiciously like Dib from Invader Zim?

(and before anyone suggests/goes to clarify, I checked already...they're two diff. VAs)

After sticking it out for three whole episodes, I have come to the conclusion that Kaleido Star may be one of the worst dubs I have ever seen - and I usually try to be very open-minded about this kind of thing ^__^; To put it bluntly, the only character that was even remotely similar to the original would be Fool. Sora sounded way too "overdone", and had her VA kept the same tone she did with Lina Inverse (OVA) she may have been bearable.

Speaking of that, I was a little disappointed with the dub of Slayers Premium as well, but that was only becuase Lisa Ortiz, Eric Stuart, Veronica Taylor and David Moo were not part of it

If you can ignore that, it's very well done.

I uderstand what you mean. Now dont get me wrong, I love slayers as much as the next person but without Lisa Ortiz, I felt the characters voice could be better. Either that or im just use to her voice. I think Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, and Pretear were good dubs.
