I used to be into a lot of action anime*cough*DBZ*hack* I suppose my tastes have evolved a bit. I'm more so into anime that confuses and messes with with your head (lain, Eva, Boogiepop). I'm also starting to develop a fondness for mechs.
But I still enjoy some action animes, YYH.

Mine changed big time!!!! At first i onlt liked Sailor Moon (i was 6) and Tenchi Muyo and then i didn't even know what japanese animation was. But then when i was in 5th grade i had this huge ass crush on a guy and he had a binder of dbz and i thought it was stupid from the comercials but i really liked him and wanted to impress him so i watched it and watched it and watched it and then i got addicted!!! by the end of that year i told him i liked dbz and he didn't care so now i was addicted to a show i didn
t want to wash in the first place. After that i had conversations with a whole bunch of people who liked anime and they told me about other shows so i watched them. And i guess that the more you watch anime you will think less about boys at school and think more about the guys in anime shows like i do. So yea now i watch alot of Adult Swim and i fixed my schedule so that i don't miss any of my fav shows.lol. (that means no dates i am packed for life. lol.) So i would say that my taste in anime "evolved".
stay away from my future husband, Sesshomaru!!!!!

I started out with Pokemon. Then, Dragonball. Dragonball Z sucked, I didn`t watch it. Next, I took a huge step up to YuYu Hakusho and Saint Seiya. From there, Rurouni Kenshin, Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, Corrector Yui, Super Pig (yes, I know... I was young). Then, the huge jump up to Evangelion and Naruto. I am currently watching Naruto and Berzerk.

In other words, it evolved A LOT.

Well, the battle for the first anime I ever saw is between Mach Go Go Go (Speed Racer!!!) and Gatchaman (G-Force?), maybe even Tetsuwan Atomu (Astroboy...).
Obviously years have passed and since I've seen anime ranging from Sailor Moon to Lupin III to Ranma 1/2 to Evangelion, etc.
Have my tastes evolved? You're guess is as good as mine.
Always was eclectic so there was no problem liking anime of any genre.
No reservations watching Excel Saga and Naruto in the same day.

Well, I started on good ole' Robotech, then a Sailor Moon for a while (grew out of that one), then DBZ for a while thought it was great, then Gundam Wing aired, and I was blown away completely. Everything that I had loved about Robotech (action, cold comedy, and a touch of romance) bled through in GW, and I was completely hooked on anime. Basically, anything that was aired on CN up until the adult swim point, I saw.

Then, about a year and a month ago, I bought Trigun. Then, I got Eva from a friend of mine about a month or so later, and I'm still watching it (seen it... what was it, fourteen times?). You could deffinitly say my tastes have evolved somewhat in terms of branching out into more genres, but what I like still remains what it was when I first got into anime: Mecha.
