Hahah! BLOOPER. I never noticed that. I think I only watched that particular episode once though...
wow. Lot of Seras fans in here huh? Personally...I can't stand her. She's so whiny and pathetic..."Ooooh...Maaaasteeerr...I dun wanna drink the bloooood....waaaah..." If I were Alucard I'd give her a big smack to the head and tell her ta shut up.
Now granted..she is less annoying in the manga. I actually kind of like her in the manga..and that Halconnen is just kick ass. But then we've got Walter to thank for that right? It all goes back to Walter. He's what keeps the whole place running. XD

"The whole coping with being a vampire bit" is one of the only things I miss about the anime that isn't in the manga. Adds a great personal touch to the show.Vlad86 wrote:I will also admit that Seras is one of my favorite female characters ever (no, this is not becuase she has big boobs. She just is a very interesting character. I must have been the only one that like the whole coping with being a vampire bit....).
I love how, in the back of volume 2 of the manga, one of the things the Valentine brothers (in Squigglevision, à la the anime's next episode previews, which are too funny to be skipped over) mention is how Victoria's breasts seem to be getting bigger over time... which, quite frankly, is one of the things I don't like about both the anime and the manga. It just doesn't look as good in my opinion (esp. in the manga, with the manga-ka's style... UGH).Vlad86 wrote:Well, that depends. You see Seras's breast size varies depending how Hirano-san felt like drawing them at the time.
I have in fact seen her go from medium to flat to big in one chapter.

Actually, there's a bit of it in the manga, it's just not as focused on as in the anime.Scintilla wrote:"The whole coping with being a vampire bit" is one of the only things I miss about the anime that isn't in the manga. Things I mean: when Alucard is teaching her to shoot like a vampire ("1km"), when Walter shows her her new bed ("W-Walter-san, what is this...?") nad there's a bucnh more. Just not as prevelent as the anime.
I forgot that in vol. 2. (It's been a while since I looked through that one).Scintilla wrote:I love how, in the back of volume 2 of the manga, one of the things the Valentine brothers (in Squigglevision, à la the anime's next episode previews, which are too funny to be skipped over) mention is how Victoria's breasts seem to be getting bigger over time... which, quite frankly, is one of the things I don't like about both the anime and the manga. AS for the style, Hirano smoothes things out as he goes along. It really is neat to compare stuff in vol. 1 with the new chapters that are being released. Needless to say, Ubung machen dein Meister.
poor example, but it's like how DBZ evolved. Compare the Saia-jin arc to the Manjin-Buu arc. the style is the "same", but still drastically different.
I just happen to be a big fan of Hirano's art style. Hellsing is his premire series, but he has another single vol. manga out, and I think a few more.

Ferguson was an anime only character, and Jan had the same amount of screen time as in the manga.
However, Mr. Hirano from time to time does little joke skit strips with Jan and Luke which are quite amusing.
