Do I even wanna know what you guys mean by this /d/ thing or whatever it is you guys are talking about? lol, I'm a tad bit on the slow side this morning with the whole blonde thing LOL>_<

Erm, never ask about /d/. If someone asks you about /d/, tell them "/d/ is for footjobs". That's all you ever need to know, I assure.

Yes, I think Inuyasha and Kagome were 'made for' each other - past precidence of the creator of the anime tells us this without a doubt.

Could they actually be a couple? That's an entirely different question. My opinion is a blatant 'no.' Hence the presence of an alternative for Kagome - that cute but naive boy in her own time.

Either way you do it, Kagome and Inuyasha can't have a functioning relationship without one of them ruining his or her life.

A) Inuyasha looses 4/5 of his life (as a hanyou) by turning human, dies within a few years (by demon count), and has to give up the world as he knows it, living and submitting to human rules and standards to be a 'human' boyfriend.

B) Kagome keeps going back and forth so they both get their own worlds and eventually ruins her life (missing too much school, destroying her future as a 'human' in her time). This one can break down two ways:
--1) Inuyasha goes human and dies in the past since his human form is too weak to survive there, possibly Kagome dying as well since he wouldn't be able to protect her.
--2) Kagome getting old after a few years (few compared to a demon life span) and Inuyasha going on to find someone else after she croaks.

I don't like those options, but that's the only way you can have these two as a couple - someone is going to lose his or her life. And most fans make Inuyasha do the sacrificing - giving up not only his semi-immortality, but his entire world and personality. After all, Kagome won't be able to slam him into the floor every time he annoys her once he's a full human, and he'll have a lot to learn if he wants to survive as a well behaved boyfriend in her world.

Were they made for each other? Of course. Are they a 'happily ever after couple?' No way in hell. Do the fans care? Not really.

Take it on face value. They're cute in the anime, but there's no future for them. It's just not a 'working' pairing. It's cliche that way. Think of Escaflowne - same thing.

Trust me, you'll be better off.

And rrriiiiiiiiiiight now I have a headache. So InuYasha and Kagome love each other....etc. etc. story goes on forever.....etc. etc. leading to an unconclusive ending.

There is some freaky stuff goin on over here. I like it.

Anyhow... I have only seen a handful of eps. myself. I like the frustrated love that they share. They love hating each other. I think they do belong together, but fate doesn't always work that way.

Ah, they are the perfect couple! Inuyasha/Kagome forever!

However I don't think Kikyo should disappear. I actually like her very much as a character. I just don't like her paired with Inuyasha anymore. Before Kagome, yeah, she and Inuyasha were an awesome couple. But unless he's into dead people (eeeww...) then no.

But it doesn't matter. If anyone's read the recent manga chapters, Kikyo's days are numbered.

Considering how Kagome can make Rei Ayanamei look like an exciting and diverse character, Kagome with anyone except someone exactly like herself can't (or shouldn't) happen. Maybe Noata before he gets hit with a guitar. . .

This is one freaky thread and the fact that I'm listening to Adagio (Albinoni) doesn't help at all.

Truly believe you can make any two or three characters into a believable couple.
Kagome & Inu Yasha could be.
Although Kikyo & Inu Yasha are also probable, death notwithstanding.
They're all very cute together anyways.
This thread's still very "Miroku", weird and perverted.
