ahhh
people hear about too many sad things in life, so their only way to escape reality would be though anime! :P

I like Azu Manga Daioh...It's about these girls that go to this japanese school. I only have volume 1 on dvd so I don't know much about it I guess...

Reality sucks.

Who wants to watch reality when they are already living it? All those reality shows are scripted and edited.

As for anime, anime can depict reality, but it will never be something like of "real life." It's drawn, colored, framed.

what's wrong with that? i'd rather see an animated character die of starvation in GRave of the fireflies then a real girl

i'd rather think about the horror of a poor girl suffering because of a war than laugh at how crappy the effects look.
