Actually, it's more of a rip-off of the orgininal dragon ball series. As far as I know, it was produced without permission of anyone (which is why everyone has different names), and was made in China.

hmm it starts a little more then an hour now and i was thinking about what u guys are saying of how bad it is, so i typed it in on google and the first link to pop up i click on, and where does it take me, i tell you. it took me to badmovies.org. here is the link to the review of this "pieace of crap" movie. they also have some screenshots and they dont look all that good but would be funny to watch.

I looked at the pics and cracked myself laughing. Who on Earth was that painted black dude with the ears suppose to be? If I can't even tell who is who from the pictures, then the movie really is bad. Or else I'm slow...

well everything was odd. they called goku monkey boy, dragon balls were called dragon pearls, yamcha's name was changed to westwood, bulmas name was changed to some name i cant pronounce, and the oloog was a human and it all didnt make that much sense. overall i dont think it was that bad cuz they made master roshi alot a bit more funnier.

i think it's King Horn, supposedly the villin who gains 6 of the dragonballs and needs only 1 more to have the dragon grant his wish
...btw, the way he dies is already the way a villin dies in one of the DB movies
