Tell me about Rurouni Kenshin anime
Is Kenshin anime really good ? I just read the manga, and I'd like to know whether the anime is worth watching. I was supposed to download some, but let's hear from you first

I was talking about trust and betrayal, the Tv show is very Fictional, trust and betrayal was VERY Realistic. and yes, he does die, to ruin it for you. but he dies from disease, not from someone.

What The Hell?!?! If you mean anime as in the books then maybe I just started reading them but if you ment the animation we all watch then you have it backwards.. I just finished watching the series (sighs heavily) and his scar was always there..Grey land wrote:One thing that I like in the Anime is that Kenshin's scar actually disappears, while it doesn't in manga
Anywho.. Samurai X Trust & Betrayal awesome!
Reflections - Havent seen
The motion picture.. well it looks like a pilot for the anime so well.. its kinda childish. The anime is childish it can sometimes get annoying but its funny at times.

I actually think the series was better than the OAV's since even though the OAVs had to do with Kenshin's past (trust and Betrayl anyway), they didn't keep THAT faithful to the manga, and I found the way the characters were portrayed rather shallow. They seemed like empty shells of the characters.
All the Kenshin anime were rather poor adaptions to the manga, the only part that kept close to faithful was the Kyoto arc of the series. Other than that both the OAVs and series were rather off from the manga. That doesn't mean they aren't good though, in fact they're great, my favorite anime. I would say both are worth the watch if you are a Rurouni Kenshin fan.

OVA (trust and betrayal): meh...very angsty and the graphic isnt that good.
Series:
Tokyo Arc: characters meet...very funny
Kyoto Arc: Fav saga in all da series...one of the best fight scences ive seen
Shimabara Arc: ...wouldnt recommened seeing this saga...its...confusing...to say the least...
Jinchuu Arc: second fav saga balance between romance and action
Seiso Hen/Reflection: very very very angsty...its a love and hate this last eps...RK fans will cry their eyes out on this last edition...
all in all i personally think its one of the best out there in the anime world
