Fan-Subbing Anime is the easiest way to get the most current releases from
any TV Station World-Wide.. Fan-Subbing would not be nesessary if DSS
had done for everybody what they said they would do - when DSS started!
. The very first promise that C-Band promised was Country access to cable.
DSS was to bring the WORLD to every country - so far, it has failed!

. Up until the crashing of C/Ku/Ka Band "T1" those opions of seeing the World
live were starting to become reality.. Sense DSS has profitted from Not giving
their viewers World-Wide-Access, Fan-Subbing is our only link to the World.
HDTV was going to supply us with the same lies in 1996.

. Until people stop putting money in their pockets first, Fan-Subbing will
remain a way of life!. Like it or lump it. 8-)

Gundum Seed is playing - right now ( Endless Rondo ) on Cartoon Network.

Did I say fan-subs shouldn't exist? No...Hell, I admit I've seen my share of titles via fansubs (they make a good way of previewing a series before its run over here)

I was merely pointing out that this guy is placing far too much faith in the fansubbing while not acknowledging the amount of work that the American companies put in to get these titles over here (a degree of work that the fansubbers respect enough to stop work on a title once it's licensed.)

So, to rephrase... fansubs aren't bad by any stretch, but, unlike what this guy was saying, they're not the ultimate choice

(...and speaking as someone who prefers older titles, I'm lucky if I can find a group subbing an older title, much less sticking with it *still disappointed that AiA gave up on Heavy Metal L-Gaim*)

Ahh man! :(
. Still, I have to give credit to those who complete the series when Licensed!

I'm glad they moved the time...since it wasn't really a kid-appropriate show anyway.

Let's please drop the fansub matter, shall we? We all know we watch them on occasion, but discussing them (and arguing about them in particular) is going to get the thread locked.

I love fansubs they give you the ability to watch the newest stuff right away. Now if you like a series fansubbed it is your duty to buy the commercial release unless that commercial release was handled poorly Ie Inu yasha Bad subs and bad dub. I own all the commercially released Gundam seed and as the releases come out I whipe out the fansubs. Remember that newtype is still trying to hype crap from 2 or 3 years ago.
