Fruits Basket anyone? its good!!!!

I first learned about Fruits Basket through by an Animerica "best of the East" review. I thought it looked intersting and wondered if I should chck it out. I never got around to it, but thankfully a frind of mine did. However, she got the last two collections of Fruits Basket because they were on sale

. She bought the first volume of the manga, then lent me all three. While the manga helped me to understand the situation, watching the DVD right after wasn't helpful. Overall, I liked it and hopefully I'll be able to get it. The manga though is just starting to get stranger.

Fruits Basket is in a German Mangamagazine called Daisuki.
I like that Manga. I will buy the Anime, too

i just adore yuki-kun!!!! and the story line is pretty original. and the characters are awesome!!!

Fruits Basket is by far one of the best animes I have ever seen. I just love it!! If you are feeling down you can watch some of the hilarious epiosdes and your mood just skyrockets right back to normal. Hehe. I love Kyo, and his voice actor cause they fit so well. Kyo and Haru have forever been my favorites from that show and always will be. Also, in my opinion, Fruits Basket is one of the few animes out there with extremely good animation! I recommend any anime lover to see Fruits Basket. Word of caution though, if you are going to watch it, it would be best if you had the entire volume of the series, because once you start watching it, you won't be able to stop. ^.^

-Kyo:"I swear everytime you open your mouth it pisses me off!"
-Momiji: "WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! Someone! Kyo's picking on me! WAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Is it at the end of manga volume six that the anime leaves off? If so, I think I'll start buying the TP releases at volume seven.
Yeah, a second season of the Furuba anime would be really great. But I doubt that they'd be able to fit everything in 26 episodes without cutting some of the fillers and side stories.

FB is one of my favorite anime/manga series. its funny, serious, and a little romantic at times, and it's all good. some of the funniest bits are with ayame and shigure, such as when ayame first shows up and spends the night. after kyo finds aya in his bed, kyo goes off on him over breakfast...
Kyo: "So why didn't you sleep with Shigure like last time?!"
Aya: "But... Gure would have kept me awake..."
Shigure: "Now, now, not in front of the children"
