Shinji and Asuka....I love their conflicting personalities. Once they put the petty stuff aside, they make an awesome team. I could really see them together if they managed to get out of their teenage years.

If I remember correctly, Winry and Edward are related in some way (cousins?).

As for Eva, it's Asuka and Shinji hands down. Reasoning: I don't know.

Why, you ask? I'm not too sure myself. I think it's because before I watched the show, someone told me that these two characters called Kurama and Hiei were a couple on YYH.

Since I was just blooming into the world of shounen ai (KaworuxShinji fan), I decided that I wanted to watch it to confirm how "cute" this pair was since this person could not stop gushing about it.

I watched it. I kept looking for hints of this so called relationship and could not find any.

So, I went online and searched for clues of what was going on, and came up with the "they're just friends" theory. I had expected it, but when I went on to continue watching the show (I had gotten hooked without knowing it), I realized that I couldn't stop not viewing Hiei and Kurama as a couple.

::clutches head:: I know! It was denial! ><

But now, I've long since accepted the way I think (which was purely by accident) and have grown to love this couple more than any others I've come across. I feel sad knowing that I support this couple with all my might (they are my favourite after all), but also don't.

Gah! I don't even know what I'm trying to say! @.@ Forgive my rambling. T__T
