Yes, Inuyasha is old news. There are a few elements in the anime that are repetitive, such as whenever the team is fighting an enemy that could be easily destroyed by Miroku's wind tunnel, the insects always show up, or the constant flashbacks to the past when...ah, I can't remember their names, but when the preistess is attacked by the antagonist. However, those instances can easily be overlooked to enjoy the anime overall. My only real complaint is that I'm tired of watching reruns on AS all the time. Also, proper spelling is a virtue in the world of the internet.

Ahhh Inyasha... I really like Inu and I am currently rewatching the 140ish eps I own before I buy the rest on EBay. I started watching it again a few nights ago and am somewhere around episode 25. As for being repeditive, yeah unfortunatly with a series that big you are bound to run across some repeditivity in it, such as Naraku's insects. But all in all it is way up there on my favorite anime list.

What about all the alternative ways of enjoying Inuyasha noone ever tells me about?

I'm still seeking the quntessential alternative Inuyasha-loving for myself, through tattoos, piercing, and education.

This may sound weird but... Inuyasha was better before it accumulated the massive fan base it has today. Hell, a girl can't even enter a role-play without seeing about five other girls fighting over the part of Kagome. Forums are littered with topics such as "OMG INUYASHA FAN HURR!!!111SHIFT", and honestly, it kind of ruins things for me.

The anime itself is... good, I suppose, but not up-to-par with some of the other, less-mainstream titles. Like everyone else said, it's repetitive with wayyyy too many flashbacks and such. So yes. It's old news. Let Inuyasha die in peace... please. x.x

I may be new here, but Inyasha is one of my top favorites. Sure it may be repetitive (am up only to volume 20 in manga). HOwever, the anime eps soured me a bit...they changed a bit too much here and there.

So I guess I am a true blue Inu fan, but don't obsess over playing main characters. Kagura is a deep chacter with her own pluses and minuses, and just plain cool.

Kouga drives me crazy though, and Hojo. One is way more chauvinstic than Inuyasha and the other is naive for his own good.

But overall, its great (in my opinion, others have their own reasons for not liking it, and I understand completely).

I love inuyasha it was the first anime i actully wached besides sailor moon.

Although i do find some of the main characters anoying like kikyo and kogome, as a matter of fact the only female I like in that show is Sango.

Anotherthing is the graphics they could be better. Sometimes it gets boaring when inuyasha stays in the air FOR EVER flying to his opponent, and I find my self thinking the same thing. Why go through all the trouble when you can just blow them into the whirl wind

Well besides a couple small detailes i still think Inuyasha ROCKS!!

Can't bear to see you so torn because of this...
The Alternative ways of Inu Yasha loving is in Toronto.
That's right go there and be set free, Oto, free.

Inu Yasha is old news partly because it's fans are the most annoying ever.
Not even Moonies come close to such exorbitant heights.
Just do a search of the IY threads here at the Org.
The numbers would be astounding.
As for the anime itself...
It's likeable and thankfully has many redeeming qualities that save it from the deterrence that ails it.
