She was brave enough to go and find her fiance's killer and not knowing what danger she might face.
She asked Enishi to not get involved with the Yaminobu clan because she doesn't want him to get hurt.
She also brave enough to face the Yaminobu clan and told them lies about Kenshin so that Kenshin wouldn't be hurt.
