I went through that phase. I had stopped watching it altogether and was almost not aknowledging it at all...then suddenly I saw my bro watching this show called "Megas LXR" I believe, and it had a parody of Sailor Moon in it. After that I went and began watching it from the first episode again and fell back in love, which is why when I got $100.00 about a week ago it went on Sailor Moon Super S Volumes VI and VII, and Excel Saga IMperfect Collection.

Yeah, don't worry, one day you'll get bored again. =P

I used to be a hardcore anime watcher, a couple hours a day usually. I got over it though. I rarely watch anime anymore. I might follow 1 or 2 series, which amounts to about a 25 minute commitment per week usually. Sometimes ill go weeks without watching any, then maybe watch a couple episodes in 1 day on a weekend. Watching anime just doesn't interest me like it used to. These days I am more focused on amvs, various anime communities than I'm part of, and other such things.

It's times like this i would say hooray for Adult Swim. you can just turn it on and you don't even need to pay attention. just listen and do whatever you want. It's how i got into Cowboy Bebop :P

:?
For the love of...
*sigh*
Can this really be described as a "phase" and a real problem?
Take me for instance, only own 3 anime.
Not series just 3 anime.
Watch more than I buy, obviously.
And I hadn't watched something new in a long time till yesterday.
Does it matter? I think not.

See, I'm not too obsessed with anime, really, only InuYasha and Yu-Yu Hakusho... There's nothing wrong with it, because some of us don't even OWN any anime on DVD or VHS... These sorts of people have to BORROW DVDs from their best friends!

So don't worry... these things come n' go, it's happened to me before!

And I still adore Inu!!!!!

Good luck,
Aly

"I will try."

It really doesn't matter if anime holds an interest for you or not. Being obsessed is not a healthy thing. If you don't feel like watching anime, then don't watch it.
It's not healthy being obsessed but I think perhaps it maybe a little more unhealthy to force yourself to be obsessed with something.
Maybe you just haven't seen any good series lately, so thus you are taking less interest in anime as a whole.

well i thank you for all your help but......this probably isnt a phase. This could be the end of the line of anime for me. Its hard to say this but i dont know if this were to happen to anyone else. Anime has gotton rather boring, or i have just been away from it for a long time and just need to see some really cool anime to get me to like it again. I been away from it all in a long time due to my career in life, so i want to know this. IN the last 3 months what was the best anime that has came out or you have seen that is recently new meaning that you saw and hasnt been seen before. I will watch 1 more anime and determian if its still taking affect on me. Let this anime be the one that would get anyone hooked on it
If the army or navy ever looks upon heavens scenes, they would see that the streets are guarded by the United States Marines.
