Oh wow wow wow, I just have to come in here and completely disagree with this statement. I would not just highly recommond, but insist that you don't watch the OVA's first. Watch it in this order:Angel18 wrote:Make sure you watch the OAV's first if you're going to watch them.
TV episodes 1-62, Trust/Betrayal, then you can watch TV episodes 63-95 to close out the TV series(these episodes aren't that great), it's probably best to just finish reading the manga after that point.
See you space cowboy...

I watched the OVA's first then the Samurai X movie, the movie is kinda like just one of those annoying movies that proves nothing except another persons hatred for Kenshin.
I so gotta see Reflections though, then I can comment on either how much it sucks or how sad it made me. It's what I've been told.

well, rurouni kenshin is really one of my fave. anime & i think a lot of
people (especially my friends) like it.
well, since i don't really read it's
manga (i only read the part where they thought kaori is dead) i
recommend you to watch the series.(you know it's good to see those
move in action).
then watch the ova1-4 ( how he got his scar) then lastly
watch the ending (the final ep.-this is also an ova-title dead of kenshin).
they were parts in manga the were not in the series (-the manga i readed). so when you get mixed up in the final ep. refer to manga.
enjoy watching samurai x

Where do I begin
Well, Rurouni Kenshin is about an ex-samurai that decided to never kill after being one of the most notorious manslayers in the War. He meets up with Kaoru, a two faced woman (half violent half loving), Yahiko, an orphan that dreams of being a famous samurai, Sanosuke, a bad mouth ruffian, Megumi, a young woman that is training to be a doctor. I won't name who else he meets further on in the show but I will say that the villains are totally awesome (Aoshi )
