My parents have no clue what kinds of things I watch... They'd probably not let me watch a lot of it if they did (I'm sixteen, and my mom still puts restrictions on me <.< it takes a lot to coax her into buying me an M rated game...)

When I do have kids (and I plan on it) I want to be a bit more permissive. As long as there's parental guidance involved, I will probably show everything save hentai before the age of 13 or so. My future wife might not allow it, but meh. Sons, I plan on being more permissive with the stuff they look at depending on age. I know how teenage boys are, being one myself, and I understand that there's one rule to being a teenage boy that's appearent unless you're extremely gay. YOU WANT TO LOOK AT PORN. I hate that restriction with my entire being, and I plan on not being uptight about it.

Meh, that's just my plan... Don't know how it'll turn out. Violence in the games I've always played hasn't affected me, and I doubt it really does change people. It's just because senators want a war to fight. Lets face it, No one would know or care who Joe Lieberman is if he didn't try to kill gaming, and that's the truth.

That's just my oppinion, though... Hell, I used to play Rampage for the N64 along side Body Harvest around the age of 10. It didn't effect me. I really think that violence in media effecting people is a pile of crap. I also think nudity effecting people is crap. So, I'm going to be permissive about what my kids see. Besides, at any age before 10, they really don't care about sex/nudity anyways (at least not heavily).

Meh..

[quote="DrngdKreationz"]Well I would probably just stick to the labels.. if it says 13+ then I'd just go ahead and hold back on it..quote]

That's not always the best way to go either becuase the people that do those ratings can be biased.
Example:

Magical Project S ( 3 and up )
The Adventures of Mini-Goddess ( 13 and up )
Magical Play ( 15 and up )
Sin the movie ( 15 and up )
Angel Santuary ( 16 and up )
La Blue Girl ( 18 and up )

I tried to pick a selection of different titles and if you recognize the titles you may notice a slight discrepancy in rating scemes.(All age ratings came off of the back of the DVD or video in my collection.)

Um, who says gay teenagers can't look at porn either? Heterosexuality has nothing to do with whether or not you're interested in pornography. That's a very closed-minded statement, and one you may want to reconsider.

Something I find interesting is the number of people who've said that violence is usually alright but not the nudity. (Exclude the serious hard-core sex stuff.)

Around our place, normal nudity is accepted to some extent (And for that matter, some abnormal nudity. Just watched Excel Saga #26 :) ), but we're not into the violence. Must be the hippies on mom's side of the family.

As George Carlin used to joke in his '7 dirty words' routine, He'd like to replace the word "kill" with the word 'F#$%'.

"Ok sheriff, we're going to F#$% you now...and we're going to F#$% you slowwww."

:| Thankfully I'm not in that group.
I wrote:Although the "Yes, to gore and violence. No, to nudity." rule is idiotic.
Personally don't believe I'm a candidate to screw my children's lives...

:? Agreed.
The only thing your post proves is that teenagers (especially boys) are:
Young, naive, stupid and clueless.
Thankfully most adults already know that.
Kid, grow up and do it fast.
Why do you think Playgirl exists... Women?
The world is still full of wonder...

well, you see, its not that i cant really watch hentai( my mother hates it though) its more of the fact that I cant FIND it anywhere. they had quite a few hentai dvds and half price books, but the perverted, nerdy shopkeeper bought them, rather than the customers. im low on money, and i have better things to do than work for money, then spend it on anime porn.

 Your parents are correct.
Obey! Obey!
Your situation is undesirable for you but funny to me...
And anyone that doesn't have to listen to mum and dad.
Eh, you're a kid, go watch Pokemon.
It's good and your parents will love it.

nah. I've been getting my anime fix of the computer for years. All you got to do is make a hidden folder, and name it Ω or any other alt code. I have like 1g of anime on it

:? That was sarcasm/irony, kid.
Personally don't need to go thru such trouble.
If I desire anime then I just buy it.
Simple as that really.
Who's going to stop me? No one.
