Naruto - ep 1- casting new voice actor/actress for Naruto!

Okay boys and girls. Because Naruto wound up being too hard on poor Katie's voicebox I am RE-CASTING NARUTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The role is open to anyone who can sound like a 12 or 13 year old boy.

Here are the requirements:

1. You must have a good, working microphone. This should be obvious, but I'm mentioning it anyway.

2. Voice files will only be accepted in the following formats: MP3, MP2, or WAVE. That is it. Nothing else will be accepted. This is to insure quality as well as convertability.

3. Remember that this is a commitment. So please don't try out unless you can devote a LOT of time to this role. I can NOT stress this enough. Naruto has over 30 lines in episode 1 alone and I intend to do at least up to ep 9, maybe higher.

4. I prefer people who have AIM or ICQ. If you don't have them it's okay. But I do prefer you have at least one of them.

5. There are lots of lines that require yelling or are just loud. Just thought I'd warn you.

After I recieve your message I will contact you for a time and method of getting your lines to me. Please watch the part of the episode these lines refer to before you record the lines. I want the emotion to be as accurate as possible. If, after hearing your audition, I decide you are right for the part I will contact you with further details.

is there any way that you can provide us with a sample of what 'poor Katie' has already accomplished?
(my condolences to katie)

it'd be a good reference, but also just for a taste of what the fandub can be like
(i realize the japanese audio clip is the actual best reference)

i think the sound bits alone would suffice, no need to sync them to video, but if you do and you provide us with that preview, that'd be awesome of you
