For Fighting try:

Samurai 7
Samurai Champloo
Ranma
Jubei Chan

For Mecha, and combat try:

Macross Zero (has one pseudo nude scene though)
Gundam anything
Full Metal Panic

For 'combat' stuff:

Mezzo (tv NOT forte!)
Gantz
Princess Tutu (serious hardcore)

For perverts:
go to an anime store and choose (a video) at random odds are 80% on finding one.
Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a night. Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Holy crap! I seriously thought that you were younger than me! Why would your parents only limit you to PG-13 when you are allowed legally to watch NC-17 movies by the time August comes?!?

Well, if your parents are seriously that obsessed, try and trick 'em. Like when got2maskit said that Excel Saga should be 17+ but the DVD said 15+. I got the latest english-dubbed Yu Yu Hakusho DVD, and it said that it was PG even though there was cussing, graphic removal of limbs, nudity, and hints of rape. (idiots...)

Okay, now that is just really weird. Well, like I mentioned with the YYH DVD, all of the other 27 DVD's released by FUNi were PG-13. Maybe it also depends on the individual disc (although that wouldn't make sense, seeing as that said YYH DVD is probably the most PG-13 out of all of them IMO). Or maybe it really is 17+ but I just forgot, I'm gonna have to double check once I go to Suncoast again.

Would you want to try Trigun? that's 13+...

(I'm getting it for my birthday, so all I can tell you now is I've heard good things about it) And, If you can find the signature series for all eight discs, it's $40 cheaper than the box set at suncoast.(not sure about other store's prices though)

I know you're asking for action/crazy series, but if you're willing to try a more subtle series, I would definately reccomend Haibane Renmei. There's like zero action and no SD, but the artwork is excellent and it's definately a more different genre of anime. The characters are really nicely developed and their movements are very realistic. And, it's 13+. If it sounds interesting, you should definately check it out.

I am answering a few posts but I'm too lazy to quote so here goes:
- madbunny you lucky jerk, you have an anime shop nearby
- I bought all my Excel Saga dvds separately and they still say 17+
- Trigun is a great action/comedy series. You should get it since they are now only $20 a disc
- Haibane Renmei is awesome in charactors, script, art and everything else

Now for some recomendations:
Dai Guard (Hard to find if not online)
Full Metal Panic
Gunsmith Cats
Martian Successor Nadesico
Saber Marionette J (Got entire legit series for $60 at AX)
Slayers and Slayers Next (Try isnt all that good)
