It's certainly not great, but at the very least, it has a piece of information in it that some of the members might find useful.

This is the anime that has to do with The Journey to the West, correct?

I'm highly considering buying this series, any input for me?

Correct.

I've only seen Gensomaden Saiyuki, (I enjoyed that for the most part). Not sure about Reloaded, though. I've heard good things about it though (not that that helps much).

Is Saiyuki Reload the sequel to Gensomaden Saiyuki? Btw, How good is Gensomaden Saiyuki? I usually get bored with long shows if they can't keep my interest. Does Gensomaden Saiyuki keep your interest throughout?

First five episodes are meh. They're probably more filler than anything else and are just there to introduce the characters. After that the story starts to pick up. The animation isn't the best but I still enjoyed it. The first half of the series concentrates a lot on the pasts of the main characters (that's what lured me in).
It kept my interest but that's just me.

hmm well I would dare say that the first two digress a lot from the initial plot they present. There's a lot of side quests and whatnot, but that's maintained under the pretense that they are travelling.

I've yet to see Reloaded so I can't comment, but hopefully it will conclude the first 2 series'.
