Based only upon seeing episode one of Negima it appears to be little more than a schoolbound harem show in true Akamatsu style.

I really don't know how else to classify a show that has a young male protagonist who is incapable of handling literally a few dozen girls who fawn over his every move.

Oh! I thought you were saying all that stuff from the top of your head until I noticed the rating style which is also on Animenfo. Animenfo is usually late on info so I only check for month old animes on that site.
