The movie from Appleseed 2004 seems to be really good... Though it's not my style...

Forgot to add Osamu Tezuka's Metropolis. Great movie, even if you aren't a Tezuka fan.

If you haven't seen it already, you should watch Cowboy Bebop The Movie. It takes place between Ep 22 and 23. It is jamed packed of action all the way. Maybe one or two slow parts, but it's great! :D Even if your not as big as a Cowboy Bebop fan as I, I think you will still enjoy this movie just like any other. And It has a great ending! If you want to know, go buy or rent it! 8-)

THANK YOU!! My favorite anime ever and I thought I was the only one who liked it (or knew about it at all).

Plus, it's another great Masamue Shirow manga turned into a wonderful anime.

If you like DTP, you should want to also get New Dominion Tank Police: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... php?id=702

Black Magic M-66 is another Shirow OAV (actually, a short 50 minute movie). It's a compact and fast-paced action film, but don't expect much in terms of story or characters. It's got some cool mecha, though.
