Theirs tentacle sex in alot of anime. It aint realy that bad once ya've seen it a hundred times over. LA Blue Girl even managed to create some comedy with it, not that it was overly funny. More like "gah, how long till the next lesbo scene?" .

Tentacles I can handle but I don't know why people aren't too disturbed by Ninja Scroll's vagina snake. I mean, c'mon....Imagine this random woman seduces you and brings you to her bed and then BAM! vagina snake. I know I'd be, to quote popular spaz, OMGWTF!!!!111oneone

Vaginasnake-dono isn't quite as graphic as the tentacle fellas. All you can really tell is that there is a snake between her legs, so some part of your mind gives her the benefit of the doubt-- no, that can't possibly come out of... well, it can't live there year-round, at least.

As for disturbing, I found a few moments of the latter half of Rizelmine a little creepy. The gratuitous T&A shots are alarming because 1) the girl is 12 for Christ's sake and 2) it's still expected to get a rise out of the viewer. And 3), for some viewers, it probably worked.

Seeing that Yakuza forcably kiss Kintaro was a bit disturbing.. The sinking of the Battleship Yamato captured my feeling right then.

Macross

Seeing that soldier and little kid burned alive when the Zentradi scorched the Earth. Admiral Hayase flashing into a cinder mid conversation with his daughter was bothersome too.

Princess Mononoke

Seeing Ashitaka get his head shaken in the mouth of the wolf. My brother and I both shot up and yelled "WTF"!?!?

Seeing the idealistic hero of the story try to rape the main female character.... and when he wakes up from being knocked unconscious from the attack, neither one pretended it happened.

Wolf's Rain

Cher's death and Hubb's reaction to it... ..the pain felt real and it bothered me.

Azumanga Diaoh

Any time Osaka had a knife or other deadly object in her hand... Or when she talked about death in any form.

Revolutionary Girl Utena

The incest between Akio and Anthy was disturbing... the drugging of people... the mental scarring inflicted on characters.... Anthy's betrayal of Utena by running her through with a sword... all good stuff for high drama

I would have to say the most disturbing anime scene would have to be... Shinji's murderlicious fantasy in End of Eva. He's flippin out and throwin chairs and stuff while screamin "Don't kill me!" and then Asuka pushs him (probably thinkin "STFU, Shinji!!!") and then he gets up and notices that he spilled coffee all over his good polo shirt and strangles the imaginary Asuka to death.
Pretty screwy stuff if you ask me.
