Cosplay: who loves it?

Hi to everybody, I'm an italian member of this Comunity, - forgive me for possible grammar mistakes - and I created this topic (sorry, it's not concernig anime at 100%) to discuss about Cosplay.
I wonder if someone knows what it is. For those who don't know anything about it, I explain: it's the "art" of wearing as the character of anime, manga, games, movies, ecc... Every cosplayers create the costumes on their own (me too, obviously), and, because of this, it's an hard work...
Here in Italy we have lots of conventions in which you can wear your costumes, and, to me, there are great meetings^^ also because I love to Cosplay the characters I like!
So, who loves this "art"?
