For all of you worrying about the common link of manga with us and vacuous moronic dumbasses who dont read proper series think of this.
The style is the same but again we are reading totally different things, like pokemon and FMA they are both shows but people have nothing in common if they only watch one.
So if those retards come up to you thinking to they are cool just remember that their manga is better used for toilet paper and remind them of that too.

Even though anime taking over the entertainment industry would seem like a good,I think that if Hollywood finds out how well anime is doing and how it is growing they will start to produce huondreds of crappy animes that will have no story and will only have action and be full of pointles episodes. It is like they say the smaller countity the better quality, and the bigger qauntity the worse the quality. So I think that anime should stay just the way that it is because then it will stay more orginal.and that is what I think.

Even if hollywood started making crappy anime, the simple solution is DONT WATCH IT. This most likely woundnt affect what is coming out of Japan as its huge there already so a growth in anime popularity would simply increase how accesible anime is, and force you to have to ignore the additional crap thats created.RJED wrote:Even though anime taking over the entertainment industry would seem like a good,I think that if Hollywood finds out how well anime is doing and how it is growing they will start to produce huondreds of crappy animes that will have no story and will only have action and be full of pointles episodes. It is like they say the smaller countity the better quality, and the bigger qauntity the worse the quality. So I think that anime should stay just the way that it is because then it will stay more orginal.and that is what I think.

We've all forgotten the best thing about mainstreaming of anime... spoilers...Certian froedns of mine glowed at the fact that FMA had come out on Cartoon Network because whenever it came out in conversation (not that often mind you) certain major plot points could slip.

I can see a lot of people here aren't very keen to the idea of anybody with different values or personalities getting into anime and manga. What do I think about that, so what. So what if the bleach blondes or the brainless jocks get into it. Exposure is exposure. I like to think that any artist would be thrilled to know that SOMEBODY took an interest in their work. Even if they aren't going to check out some of the really great series, hey, at least they're giving anime and manga a shot. And you never know, they might actually check out the better stuff. If they don't, so what, more for us. And even if the years go by and Japan starts making more shows with the exact same plot over and over again, resulting in crap anime and manga, we can always go back to the old stuff. Anime and manga existed before the year 2000 you know.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

The problem that i have can really be represented by this analogy.
Would you consider a movie like American Pie or something like that to be on the same level as The Godfather or The Good Bad and The Ugly. These are completly different and we dont think that a person who only watches one should claim that they are on the same level as others.
I hope ths is somewhat understandable and that the people ive been talking to agree with this analogy.
