What is a good site for someone livin in Canada to buy anime

Post by inuhikarifan » Mon Feb 21, 2005 11:36 pm

I have been looking at amazon.ca, but the choices aren't too good, and what I want ships in one to two months! I have also been looking at AnimePlanet and AnimeNation. Could somebody please help me?

Yea, aside from Amazon.ca, I'm really not sure that there's any Canada-specific online distributors of anime like that. Your best bet is either waiting, or trying out some US sites that ship to Canada, I think.

Usually amazon.ca shipped pretty quickly for me, but I don't usually buy anime from them because they're pretty expensive (although sometimes the free shipping deals help out a lot).

I bought a lot of my DVDs from http://www.animecornerstore.com/. They ship to Canada and have good prices... I think the DVDs usually took between 2 and 3 weeks to send.

Also, if you want a really inexpensive way to get DVD footage, you can rent a whole ton of anime DVDs online at zip.ca. Since it's a Canadian company, the shipping should be pretty fast.

Sakura Media is where I order everything anime & j-pop that isn't available at a cheaper price on amazon.ca - I think it's located in Vancouver, BC.
