If an anime changed me, that
would have to be Ranma 1/2...
I started watching it when I was 6...
I was really amazed by the skills
all those fighters had, so I started
doing Taekwondo..
Well, now I'm eleven years older
and just managed to get the black belt
(-> 1st March)
My parents also say that my character changed,
because the more I watch Anime the happier I am^^

Do we live to watch Anime or do we watch Anime to live?

There is no particular anime that changed my life but Tenchi Muyo got me started. Anime is also one of my big stress releivers. The last time I was in Iraq anime was the only thing that kept me partaily sane. My NewTypeUSA subscription was the one thing that I looked forward to getting in the mail, when it got through that is, more so than letters from family. I imagin that this next and last tour there will be the same way. I use anime, reading, and video games as ways of calming down, and relaxing. Without it I would probably be out of the military on a psycological chapter and be in therapy for life.
My deepest respects to you for serving my friend. I prayer to you for your safety and wellbeing as well as a constant flow of anime to keep you occupied while you are there (That being off topic, sorry but it had to be said)

hmm...im sure all of the series i have seen have collectively changed my life in serious (but not at all uncool ^_^) ways. but i have to give the most impacting award to saikano....i dunno what it did...but it did something...guess it just kinda altered my views about love and the forces that serve to rip it apart...and if anybody likes seriously emotional anime, you should check out that series....but keep tissues handy....lots and lots of tissues....
