Hellsing signature series

Hellsing #1: Impure Souls (Signature Series)
Geneon / Pioneer (6/7/2005)

Does anyone know anything about this? Is it just a re-release of the series for more money, or do they actually change something that makes a difference, instead of a touch-up on the audio or footage.

It sounds like a re-release. Gamn gainax started all this crap, now companies are gona start making first releases crap on purpose.

Geneon's Signature Series is rereleases of series they released when they were still Pioneer.

They cost less than the original Pioneer DVDs (usually listing at ~$20, with the Pioneer listing at ~$30), but the disks are identical even down to still having the Pioneer splash at the beginning. The only material change is the packaging.

It'll be the same dvd but with a way lower price.

$19.99 will probably be it even though I think the series is worth $9.99

I wish they would have stuck with just the Pioneer logo and added the Geneon's logo as a very small unobtrusive one. Those new ones just make me not want to buy any of their products.
