i watched inuyasha one time and i was hooked. i think it was the episode where kikyo's ashes were stolen. from then on i've always hated kagome for trying to replace her.

This is so embarassing but the first anime I saw was Pokemon when I was like 10 years old then DBZ . The first anime that I saw that i'd actually class as decent was the Ghost in the Shell movie which is still one of my favourites now.

The earliest anime I recall watching was Ulysses 31, which I was shown on TV when I was a child. I didn't even know that show was Japanese though until I recently came across a description of it on the web though.

I first saw Voltron way back in the day before I knew what it was, as well as Famous Detective Holmes (AKA Sherlock Hound). Then, I watched some Sailor Moon in the mid-90s, but I don't think I ever saw the end of the second season. I went dormant for awhile after that, only watching the occasional Cartoon Network offerings (like DBZ just for fun) Then, in early 2003, I borrowed the Sailor Moon movies from my younger sister, and thought, "gee, this genre of entertainment is something that I can be comfortable watching for hours and hours." At this point I had significant amounts of money, and started buying up the Sailor Moon dub DVDs, and everything has exploded from that point on. SM probably still influences me because I'm into more shoujo stuff than the average guy.

As far as I can remember the first anime I ever saw was Sailor Moon when I was like about 6 or 7 years old. Back then this show was the shit. I lost interest sometime after it came to Toonami (a few years ago). Then I started to hate it because it became so annoying and reptitive. Now, a man at age 20, I ask myself, why did I ever like this show?

I might have seen Voltron back then, but I don't remember

The first anime I ever saw was Dragon ball Z or Dragon ball. I'm not sure if I'm correct or not. But I've been watching DBZ since I was about 5 years old or so. Ever since I was about 6 or 7 I could make my voice like Vegeta and I still can. 8-) Then I think I saw Sailor Moon.....still not sure.

Post by jenny2blue4mina » Fri Apr 15, 2005 8:08 pm

????? I think Totoro. (thanks ma for buying it) Then Ninja scrolls around 9ish. (Thanks to my big sis) I know that there was quite a few between Totoro at age 4 and Ninja scrolls, just dont remember the names...As for the one that threw me over the edge...... Sailor Moon  ahhhh! It still is my favorite....I also said "I will begin with Sailor Moon and end with Sailor Moon." Now 8 years later I am still collecting Sailor Moon stuff...(the original series, uncut and subtitle versions)....Today its Evangelion, Ah, my goddess, NOIR, and a few others...Sorry but it takes forever for me to collect an entire series before I can move on!

I remember now. I used to watch the original Transformers back when I was in kindergarten. This was my first anime. It was when I was in either 1rst or 2nd grade when I got hooked on Sailor Moon. I think I got "Hooked On Anime" while watching G-Force and DBZ and I think Speed Racer. I'm embarassed to say that I got to the point of not return when I got hooked on Pokemon back when I started highschool; (In recent years, I just stopped caring about that show. And now I'm starting too hate it). Later it was Vampire Hunter D, Goku Midnight Eye, and then Wicked City that further dragged me in.

well the first anime I’ve seen was Fist Of The North Star, I was about 8 when I’ve seen it. I remember this because this was the first time I’ve ever seen someone blow somebody’s head off with a touch to the head or blow somebody up for that matter.
