Characters who look like bad guys, but are good guys.

Hmmm...

Dr Jackel from Getbackers and Katana from Gad Guard...though I'm not really sure that they're 'good guys' as such but more traditional enemy-turned-part-time-ally type of thing. But I suppose in that sense a lot of people could apply -Gaara? (Naruto), Hisoka? (Hunter X Hunter).

...I suppose they're more antiheroes than 'good guys'.

My brother has just suggested Killua (Hunter X Hunter) and I can see what he means when you think of his dark-assassin mode. The same could be applied to Kurapica when his eyes turn red. - But I suppose on both counts that's when they loose the good-guy element and bow to their 'dark-sides'.

Blah, I'll stop woffling now.

Or Argo Gulsky from G Gundam. Scary dude.
Or Trigun's Wolfwood? Not that he looks like a bad bad guy; more like a pick pocket.

That would be Dio. And for the record he calls Claus Immelman as a referance to a flying maneuver named for a German ace pilot if I am not mistaken.

And to pitch in myself, Saito from Ruroni Kenshin certainly fits the bill.

I'd say Saito and Dr. Jackyl are basically the same character

They even have the same eyes, and the strand-y hair.

How about Chloe from Noir? I don't know if she's necessarily a "good guy", but she does look pretty freaky and evil.

I think his name is Gat from gadirok and I can't belive no one has said sasuke from naruto wen he goes all phsyco and gets that curs thing and wen he's fighting the sharigan eye helps w/that 2....
