actually theres a 5 string and 6 string bass too, and a 4 string guitar, a bass just has thick strings number doesnt matter.

actually Bassist in all bands get respect from the fans like i think Mike Dirnt of Green Day and the bassist in Nirvana and The Cure are great bass players.

How in the world do you expect normal people to know that? All I can destinguish between an acoustic banjo, bass and guitar, is a bass has 4 strings, a banjo has 5 strings and the distinct shape, and a guitar has 6 strings. Now I learn this? I might as well just go by sound. That isn't so confusing... right? ... right?

I feel I should point out that both your avatar and sigbar are far too big.
The forum rules restrict avatars to 80x80 or smaller and signature images to a height of 40 pixels or less.
