What order should you see .Hack in?

Post by inuhikarifan » Tue Apr 12, 2005 10:05 pm

I watched one episode of .Hack//Sign on TV and decided to start on it (but I'm not going to watch it on TV seeing as I can't stand dub) but as far as I know, there is three; //sign, //legend of the twilight, and //liminality or something. What order would make the most sense?

I believe it's //liminality then //sign then //twilight.

It's //hack, //liminality, //twilight.

Also, the videogames run concurrent to //liminality. Just for the record.

actually //hack,//limiality,and//Another story

Another story is the ending Sign and The Games.

But When I bought the series it came with my dvds as a dot hack bonus disc.Don't watch twilight its nothing but useless crap, that was made because the creator wanted more money.

First, that is what the link I posted says, also, minus Another Birth (see below). (I have all of SIGN, the game series, and Legend of the Twilight on DVD, but to list out the relationship when the Wikipedia already has a good explaination of the series would be needless.) :?

Second, "Another Story" is listed in the Wikipedia as .hack//Another Birth, which is basically Blackrose's POV of the same events depicted in the Game Series. AFAIK, it hasn't come over to the international market.

While I'll admit that Legend of the Twilight wasn't as good as it could have been (and I did write up a review on it, btw), I've heard that .hack//Unison was even worse. I've been told that it is a union of the two .hack groups (from SIGN and the Game series), but then it degenerates into a lame dance party routine. :?
