Is Fruit Basket a good anime?

I will say I got that impression about the anime, when I first saw it in some AMVs, and of course when I saw the box set. Still I didn't really care who the target audiance was, as long as it was good. I mean look at escaflowne, I loved that anime, it was recommended to my by a girl and I would say it is generally aimed at women, but I loved the series. It was one of the best series of my life.

With fruit baskets as far as I have seen it was funny, and I don't really mind the tent part, besides it wasn't like it was going to be house for the rest of her life, it was only a few weeks or so.

Well, I consider the people of this site to have better taste at least from experince form those I have talked to, and besides I did do some research before I came here. I talked to the voice actor at the anime anihime convention of 2003 plus saw those AMVs and read the back of the box and then went here for a little more convincing. It turned out that I like it so for from what I have see as most people said I would. That's why I asked and if I got mixed reviews I would look into each of the thouroly and then decided!

Heck yeah! I've seen 1-4. It's kind of dramatic and romantic, but at the same time it's sort of a comedy. You should start watching it (This is me, strongly recommending this anime...without spoiling it..), you get into and you want more.

(I like Kyo, he's so cute when he's angry.)

Okay, I finished watching it. I thought it was a really good series so thanks for the recommendation. Ending was unexpected which is somthing I really like about it and it really had a good ending. Man if only I had friends like Hana and Uho (if I spelled that right). The only thing I really hated about it was that f*cking kid that turns into a sheep. I would kill him if i could, and the people that constantly constantly yell. But other than that thanks for the recommendation. It was a really good series!

I've seen all the episodes and it's got basically ..... everything!
You've got your innocent girl, all the guys are cute, they're extremely hilarious, romance, and a really good cast in general.

Oh and Evangelion Unit 01 I agree with you on that little annoying kid, I thionk his name is Heero, or something. I just wanted to slap him everytime he opened his mouth!!

And to think that I actually now a little kid like him!!! But I'm not allowed to hit him!

I totally recommend this anime, not because of what other people are saying...but Fruits Basket is a good shoujo anime one of my all-time favorites...but however one my friends doesnt like it...because it bores him...heh.

I totally recommend this series...that is if youre into shoujo animes. ^_^

Okay, I have not seen the anime (I have it all on order) but I have read the books and I love them. But I am writing this response to warn you that if you want to buy it, DO NOT buy it from chapters.ca. I ordered it two months ago and it still hasn't come. Oh no, here comes the tears.

I haven't seen the anime yet
(excluding episode 1, 6+7 ^^), but I've
read all mangas until number 17..
..(yes, i understand a bit japanese^^'')
and I have to say that the manga is brilliant

The episodes I've seen were good, but the
manga is better...imo...
especially the thing with Akito...

And Yuki is such a mean guy...

But I don't want to spoil anything, so..I
leave it that way^^
